(In)Form at MadArt Studio

In a recent joyful collaboration with visual artist Nate Clark, I created the sound component installed alongside Clark's multi-medium sculptural installation (In)Form at MadArt Studio. Weaving together close-mic found object improvisations and field recordings, I built sonic layers that conversed with Clark’s intentions to center the senses and return to the body. This page documents a little bit of the journey! Read about my process here.

Bowl is a ~25-minute loop, installed in stereo above the largest Alaskan Cedar dome, spanning 7 feet in diameter.

Dew is a ~25-minute loop, installed in stereo across the back of the space. One speaker was placed above each dome at a distance of ~25 feet from one another.

Breath is a ~15-minute loop, installed above the hand-woven, floating Net.
